- Target Compensation: $125,300 to $233,000 / year (Commensurate with experience, competencies, and market placement).

As a Senior Manager in Corporate Development, you will serve as a core leader driving high-impact business diligence, M&A strategy, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. You will partner directly with Market Leaders to lead M&A sourcing, articulate strategic rationales, build comprehensive financial business cases, and guide transactions through integration planning.
Key Responsibilities
- M&A Strategy & Sourcing: Conduct deep market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments in aerospace, defense, and tech to build prioritized M&A sourcing pipelines.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build detailed waterfall models, operating P&Ls, financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and valuation frameworks to evaluate potential acquisitions and equity investments.
- Executive Decision Support: Develop executive-level presentations and actionable recommendations for senior leadership reviews, board meetings, and investment committees.
- Due Diligence & Integration: Lead business and commercial due diligence while collaborating across functional teams to translate strategic value drivers into actionable integration plans.
- Team Leadership & Frameworks: Lead and mentor junior team members across the full M&A lifecycle while establishing standardized frameworks and methodologies for business case development.
Candidate Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience within strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development.
- Industry Focus: Proven experience within the Aerospace, Defense, Government Services, or Technology sectors.
- Financial Rigor: Demonstrated experience building complex financial models (waterfalls, forecasts, ROI frameworks, P&Ls) and manipulating large data sets in Excel.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with a track record of structuring complex problems and delivering actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
- Familiarity with federal budget processes and defense procurement cycles.
- Advanced financial modeling capabilities, including building complex operating P&Ls and running Monte Carlo simulations.
