The role supports identifying inorganic growth opportunities via acquisitions, investments, or joint ventures, with rigorous financial analysis and strategic problem-solving, reporting to the Corporate Development team.

The position emphasizes deal execution, market insights, and cross‑functional collaboration across Studio and Platform businesses, with executive exposure and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• 2+ years of M&A experience (investment banking, private equity, or corporate development).
• Experience evaluating inorganic growth opportunities and building financial models.
• Strategic, quantitative and financial modeling skills with data-driven analyses.
• BA or equivalent degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions for SIE with business units.
• Provide market insights to support strategy and M&A activities.
• Construct business cases and detailed valuation models for potential transactions.
• Prepare presentations outlining strategic rationale for transactions.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence and manage projects from diligence to closing.
• Present business cases to senior management for project approval.
• Collaborate with post‑merger integration and operations teams for outcomes.
• Build relationships across SIE and Sony to uncover opportunities.
