GameChange Energy is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to support growth through M&A, strategic investments, partnerships, and corporate strategy. You will build financial models, evaluate targets, and prepare materials for executives, lenders, and investors.

Based in Norwalk, CT with a hybrid schedule (2 days on-site), you’ll collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT to automate reporting and drive strategic initiatives in renewable energy technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, Big Four Deal Advisory.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Strong financial statement analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• M&A – Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases for acquisitions and strategic investments.
• Support all phases of the M&A lifecycle including target identification, deal execution, and integration planning.
• Prepare presentations and materials for executive leadership, board meetings, lenders, and investors.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking.
• Evaluate partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Assist with 45X Tax Credit Sales and special projects supporting the CFO office.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and IT.
• Improve financial reporting and decision-making processes through automation and analytics.
• Assist with ERP implementations, business integrations, and process improvements.

The Corporate Development Analyst will support GameChange Energy’s strategic growth initiatives through mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, partnerships, and corporate strategy. The analyst will work closely with senior leadership to evaluate acquisition targets, build financial models, conduct industry research, and execute strategic transactions that strengthen the company's leadership in renewable energy technology.

Corporate Development Analyst Responsibilities:

Corporate Development Analyst Skills & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• Experience Level: 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, Big Four Deal Advisory
• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• Strong financial statement analysis
