Job summary

Leadenhall Search & Selection seeks a Corporate Counsel – Telecommunications & Regulatory to join its in-house legal team in the United States. You will advise on FCC, state PUC and telecom regulations impacting UCaaS, CCaaS and VoIP products, and oversee regulatory filings and consent requirements.

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will craft practical compliance frameworks and guide Product and Engineering through regulatory considerations, including AI governance, while

Qualifications

• J.D. with active bar membership in a U.S. state.
• Strong telecommunications regulatory experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communications, with ability to translate complex regulation into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on FCC, state PUC and telecommunications regulatory requirements for UCaaS, CCaaS and VoIP products.
• Provide guidance on STIR/SHAKEN, Caller ID, CLI masking, interconnection and regulatory filings.
• Advise on call recording, TCPA, FTSA, A2P/P2P messaging and consent requirements.
• Support AI-enabled products with governance and transparency considerations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on regulatory issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support commercial teams on regulatory questions and coordinate with external counsel.
