LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced in-house real estate attorney for a long-term career with a financially strong, industry-leading company. The role offers stability, collaboration, and meaningful work within a robust legal department.

Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting complex real estate agreements, advising on acquisitions and land use, reviewing due diligence, and managing outside counsel. On-site work is required; relocation considered.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing.
• 8+ years of sophisticated commercial/industrial real estate experience.
• Experience in a large law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on-site (Relocation considered).

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft real estate agreements including leases, purchases, NDAs, and related documents.
• Advise partners on acquisitions, dispositions, development, and land use matters.
• Review title, survey, and due diligence materials.
• Manage outside counsel and legal spend.
• Partner with leadership to identify legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Support compliance initiatives and develop templates and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, construction agreements, letters of intent, NDAs, and other complex real estate transactions
• Advising business partners on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction, facilities, and land use matters
• Reviewing title, survey, and due diligence materials
• Managing outside counsel and legal spend
• Partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and deliver practical business solutions
• Supporting compliance initiatives, legal training, and development of templates and best practices

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
• 8+ years of sophisticated commercial and/or industrial real estate transactional experience
• Experience in a large law firm, corporate legal department, or combination of both
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage a high volume of complex transactions
• Collaborative, business-minded attorney who enjoys partnering with internal clients
• Ability to work on-site (Relocation considered)
