Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting and finance functions for a private organization in Hood River, Oregon. This on-site role offers direct access to ownership and senior leadership, with responsibility for accounting, payroll, HR, and strategic financial guidance across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of leadership experience in accounting/finance, multi-entity consolidations, and a CPA or equivalent background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Multi-entity accounting and consolidations experience strongly preferred.
• Current Controller or experienced Assistant Controller ready for a broader leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple entities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
• Prepare consolidated financial reporting and board-level presentations.
• Manage banking, audit, tax, insurance, and external advisor relationships.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
• Partner with ownership and business leaders on strategic decisions and special projects.
• Mentor, develop, and lead accounting and administrative staff.

This role is fully on-site in Hood River, Oregon. Relocation candidates will be considered.

LHH is supporting a well-established, privately held organization seeking a Corporate Controller to serve as the senior-most finance leader across a diverse portfolio of operating companies and investment entities.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct access to ownership and executive leadership. The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations, provide strategic guidance on business performance and growth initiatives, and lead an established accounting, payroll, and HR team.

Key Responsibilities
