Job summary

Harbor Logistics LLC seeks a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function across its multi-entity logistics platform, including trucking, drayage, brokerage, warehousing, and related operations. Reporting to the CFO, this role ensures timely consolidated reporting, the monthly close, accounting operations, internal controls, and building the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Eight+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidations.
• Experience closing multiple entities and leading accounting teams.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/reporting system experience.

Responsibilities

• Own consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual close across entities.
• Prepare GAAP financials, management reporting, and schedules with analysis.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, COA structure, and master data.
• Lead accounting operations: AP, AR, billing, cash application.
• Oversee NetSuite-based improvements and cross-system integrations.
