Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee the general ledger, close processes, reconciliations, and accounting policy enforcement.

The role requires hands-on leadership across a complex multi-entity environment with exposure to SEC reporting and SOX controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a technically strong accounting leader with deep GAAP/IFRS knowledge, CPA credentials, and extensive experience in financial reporting,

Qualifications

• Leads finance and accounting teams across multiple entities.
• Oversees GAAP/IFRS compliant financial close and reporting.
• Develops and enforces internal controls and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Establish priorities, operating plans, and performance expectations for accounting operations.
• Develop accounting leaders through workforce planning and performance management.
• Provide SVP of accounting oversight on books, policies, and data integrity.
• Develop reporting packages for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including financial statement prep.
