Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a skilled Corporate Controller to lead our accounting function, including general ledger, close cycles, and internal controls across a complex multi-entity environment. You will partner with senior finance leaders to set strategy, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has deep GAAP/IFRS knowledge, experience with SEC reporting and SOX controls, and a hands-on leadership style to drive performance and compliance across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field with 11-15 years of related experience (or advanced degrees with correspondingly fewer years).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in finance or accounting functions.
• Experience in corporate controller role with consolidated financial reporting and internal control over financial reporting.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with SEC reporting and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting and close processes.
• Define priorities, resource needs, and performance expectations for accounting operations.
• Develop leadership and organizational capability through staffing and development.
• Provide oversight of accounting records and strategic financial direction to senior leadership.
• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
