Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. seeks a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function, including general ledger, close, reconciliations, and compliance. You will drive policy, controls, and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities, and partner with senior leadership on strategy and reporting.

The ideal candidate has deep GAAP or IFRS knowledge, SEC reporting exposure, SOX controls, and a track record of building accounting teams and processes in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience managing finance and accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and SEC reporting.
• CPA license and/or advanced accounting credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls across entities.
• Partner with senior leadership on accounting strategy and financial data integrity.
• Manage internal and external audit activities and implementation of corrective actions.
