Job summary

Linden Lab in San Francisco is seeking a Corporate Controller to own accounting operations, close processes, and external reporting. You will partner with the CFO and leaders to scale the accounting function responsibly while modernizing with AI and automation.

You'll lead a global team, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, oversee audits, and collaborate with FP&A on forecasting and budgeting. The role emphasizes strong controls, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Deep GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and complex accounting matters.
• Experience leading accounting teams and M&A initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting operations including month-end close, record-to-report, payroll, payables, receivables, and financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for compliance with US GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing accounting team and drive process improvements with AI and automation.
• Oversee external audits and ensure accurate reporting and coordination with auditors.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and related accruals.
