Company Description

The Previti Group is a privately held, multi-generational real estate investment and development organization with a diverse portfolio spanning multifamily apartments, commercial real estate, and land development. In addition to its real estate activities, the organization owns and operates corporate aviation assets. Role Description

The Corporate Controller will serve as a senior accounting leader responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and accounting functions across approximately 50 affiliated entities. This individual will work closely with executive leadership and ownership and will play an important role in maintaining strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and efficient accounting processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the monthly and year-end close process, external audits and CPA requests, loan draws, property accounting, job cost accounting, cost segregation studies, and property tax appeals. The Corporate Controller will also oversee payroll funding and related journal entries and help manage accounting systems, processes, and system-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have significant accounting leadership experience, preferably within real estate, with a strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and financial reporting. Experience with JD Edwards is a significant plus.

We are particularly interested in finding a hands‑on leader who combines strong technical accounting skills with sound judgment, organization, and the ability to lead and develop an accounting team. Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, accounting operations, and multi-entity environments. Experience within real estate, development, property accounting, or other privately held businesses is helpful.

The successful candidate should be comfortable overseeing accounting processes, working with outside CPAs and auditors, managing multiple priorities, and partnering with senior leadership and ownership.

Leadership experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on approach are important. Experience with JD Edwards is a plus, but not required.
