Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Finance Director to serve as Corporate Controller for a leading construction firm in Louisville. You will drive financial strategy, oversee budgeting/forecasting, manage cash flow, and ensure robust reporting across multiple entities to support growth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in senior financial management, a CPA/CMA/CFA or MSc, experience with Acumatica, and advanced Excel skills. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years in a senior financial management role; construction industry preferred.
• Acumatica experience is a plus.
• Strong financial and business acumen with strategic mindset.

• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial strategy and operations including budgeting, forecasting and risk management.

• Oversee WIP accounting and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct internal audits across subsidiaries.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Controller to join our thriving construction company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic decision‑making process, providing financial insight and direction to support the company's growth and profitability. This position will oversee all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring financial stability and profitability.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the financial strategy and operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
2. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, records, and reporting systems.
3. Managing cash flow and liquidity of the company, including cash management strategies and initiatives.
4. Overseeing the Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Conduct internal audits across multiple subsidiaries in the organization.
6. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
7. Providing financial analysis and recommendations to the senior management team to support strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably with experience in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience Acumatica will be a plus.
4. Strong financial and business acumen, with a strategic mindset and ability to make sound financial decisions.
5. Experience in financial reporting across multiple entities.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
