Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a Corporate Compliance Paralegal to support the in-house legal department in managing licenses, registrations, contracts, and regulatory matters for multi-family properties. This role requires substantial experience and a diligent, discreet approach.

The position involves reviewing contracts, assisting with entity formation and recordkeeping, monitoring legislation, and coordinating with brokers and outside counsel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 8–10 years experience as a legal assistant and/or paralegal.
• Experience with insurance defense matters, bankruptcy, real estate ownership and operations, multi-family property management and leasing operations, corporate/partnership structures, and landlord/tenant disputes.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with licenses, filings, and invoicing; address code compliance violations and liens.
• Review, revise and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with standard provisions.
• Maintain professional communication with internal teams, ownership contacts, outside counsel, and regulatory authorities.
• Assist in entity management, including SS4 and W-9 completion, and ownership transitions for multi-family properties.
• Monitor legislation and regulatory developments and provide analyses with recommendations.
• Maintain and enforce the privacy policy and program.
• Support audits and maintain systematic legal department filings and schedules.
• Coordinate with brokers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
