Job summary

SERHANT. is seeking a Licensing Paralegal to draft, issue, and maintain Independent Contractor Agreements for affiliated agents, ensuring term sheets and splits are accurately reflected. You will verify licenses across states and keep sponsorship records compliant with real estate rules.

The role sits in Licensing and collaborates with Recruiting, Brokerage Operations, Finance and Legal to move candidates from verbal offers to contracted and licensed agents quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or degree with equivalent experience.
• 3+ years drafting agreements from templates and term sheets.
• Experience in real estate brokerage or related law preferred.
• Familiarity with independent contractor arrangements and commissions.

Responsibilities

• Draft ICAs from approved templates and tailor terms for agents and teams.
• Route agreements for e-signature and file signed copies.
• Verify licenses, sponsorships and state compliance for each agent.
• Maintain live tracker and coordinate with Finance and Legal.
