Job summary

Republic Airways offers an internship program designed to prepare students for the workforce. Interns gain access to mentorship, shadow opportunities across departments, and professional development workshops, plus direct exposure to the aviation industry with tours of facilities in Carmel, IN.

Interns will work up to 40 hours per week (min 20 hours during spring and fall), onsite at the Carmel Headquarters, with relocation assistance if applicable and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Multimedia Design, or related.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing and editing for internal communications, including a newsletter.
• Conduct interviews and produce high-quality blogs and articles.
• Assist with outreach efforts externally about policies, programs and initiatives.
• Create visual graphics to promote internal and external initiatives and events.
• Assist with research, planning, writing and development of new ideas for social content calendar and weekly newsletters.
• Actively seek opportunities to increase brand awareness and implement new ideas as requested.
