Job summary

Republic Airways offers an internship program designed to prepare students for the workforce. You will create and organize engineering documents, assist the maintenance floor, and analyze change requests for fleet efficiency.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in AET or related field with a 3.0 GPA, advanced Excel skills, and onsite work at the Carmel headquarters. You will gain mentorship and professional development while contributing to aviation operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology (AET) or related.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group.
• Pursuing Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
• Onsite work at Carmel Headquarters location; US work eligibility without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create, adjust, and organize technical documents to assist a respective mentor.
• Consolidate and streamline information regarding engineering documents for maintenance crews on the floor.
• Gather and condense information through company databases for the engineering/maintenance department.
• Analyze aircraft change requests for economic viability and fleet convenience.
• Brainstorm ways to improve operations within the engineering department and across departments.
• Attend meetings, vendor functions, and assist with duties, projects, and presentations.
