Job summary

MCHAP is seeking a Part-Time Chaplain to serve employees and their families in a remote field role, primarily supporting company worksites and their communities in Cullman, AL. The Chaplain will provide confidential pastoral care, spiritual support, and crisis assistance while partnering with the Chaplain Team and company leadership to fulfill ministry objectives.

The role requires strong listening, counseling, and interpersonal skills, along with a deep Christian faith, interfaith sensitivity,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make regular visits to company worksites to build relationships with employees and families.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues including grief, finances, and family matters.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and offering post-termination care as needed.
• Provide outreach support during crises or traumatic events.
• Offer literature and resources to assist employees with life issues.
• Represent ministry services to clients and coordinate with executives as appropriate.
• Participate in new employee orientation to explain Employee Care Service.
