Job summary

MCHAP seeks a part-time Chaplain in Chester, IL to serve employees and their families by providing spiritual care, counseling, and referrals at client sites.

The role includes regular worksite visits, confidential discussions, bereavement support, and coordination with the Employee Care Service. A Christian lifestyle and active church involvement are expected, with remote field duties and travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visit company worksites regularly to engage with employees and build trust.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employees and families.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and provide bereavement support.
• Provide resources and referrals for life issues as needed.
• Communicate sensitive information to employees and families respectfully.
• Coordinate with client companies and executive leadership as required.
• Explain Employee Care Service to new employees during orientation.
