Job summary

FNBO is seeking a student intern to assist with audit testing and gain exposure to internal audit methodology, risk management and banking operations. The role focuses on executing fieldwork, communicating testing exceptions, and assisting in drafting audit reports under supervision.

The ideal candidate is an enrolled college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, IT or MIS, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 after sophomore year and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after sophomore year.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Intern will participate in corporate internship program activities such as educational workshops, social events, and family-night. Intern will also be responsible for participating in a capstone presentation at the conclusion of the internship program.About This Role:Audit Execution: Execute audits at the direction of the Senior Auditor or Supervisor:· Fieldwork – Assist with audit testing and control testing as defined in related audit programs.· Wrap-up – Communicate testing exceptions to in-charge and audit management. Assist in drafting audit report for audit project.· Demonstrate professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.The Ideal Candidate for This Role:Basic Qualifications:1. Enrolled college student working towards Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, information technology or MIS.2. Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after sophomore year3. Working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:1. Sound oral & written communication skills2. Strong analytical skills & critical thinking skills3.
