Jobot, a well-established midsize law firm on Long Island, is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney for its growing transactional practice in Uniondale, NY. This hybrid role provides 3 days in office and 2 remote, with direct access to senior partners and meaningful client interaction.

The Corporate team handles M&A, financings, private equity, private placements, and general corporate matters for a diverse client base, offering ownership of matters and visibility beyond traditional BigLaw.

Qualifications

• Corporate attorney with sophisticated transactional experience.
• Experience with M&A, financings, securities, private equity, or general corporate matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and senior attorneys.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• New York Bar admission required.

This is a strong opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated corporate work on a midsize platform with greater visibility, direct partner interaction, and a more collaborative environment than traditional BigLaw.

The Practice

The Corporate team advises public and private companies, entrepreneurs, investors, lenders, and other business clients across a broad range of transactional and general corporate matters, including:

• M&A
• Debt and equity financings
• Private placements and investment transactions
• Corporate governance
• Commercial agreements
• Joint ventures and strategic transactions
• Business formations and restructurings
• General corporate counseling
• Securities and financing-related matters

The group works closely with clients throughout the lifecycle of their businesses and provides attorneys with meaningful opportunities to take ownership of matters and develop direct client relationships.
