Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Corporate Attorney for a well-established midsize law firm on Long Island, based in Uniondale with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). This permanent role offers sophisticated corporate work without the BigLaw structure and direct access to senior partners.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers & acquisitions, financings, securities, private equity, and general corporate matters.
• Draft and negotiate transactional documents and agreements.
• Work closely with clients and senior attorneys to manage matters from inception to closing.
• Provide clear, concise legal advice and direct client interaction.

The Practice

The Corporate team advises public and private companies, entrepreneurs, investors, lenders, and other business clients across a broad range of transactional and general corporate matters, including:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Debt and equity financings
• Private placements and investment transactions
• Corporate governance
• Commercial agreements
• Joint ventures and strategic transactions
• Business formations and restructurings
• General corporate counseling
• Securities and financing-related matters

The group works closely with clients throughout the lifecycle of their businesses and provides attorneys with meaningful opportunities to take ownership of matters and develop direct client relationships.
