Job summary

Medpace is seeking an experienced in-house Attorney for its Corporate Affairs team in Cincinnati. The attorney will serve as counsel for enterprise-wide governance, employment matters, privacy, and other corporate matters, supporting global subsidiaries and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes compliance, governance, and global privacy with collaboration across cross-functional teams in a dynamic CRO environment.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate with 3-5 years of experience at a law firm or in-house.
  • Knowledge in corporate compliance and governance, contracts, collections and/or general litigation preferred.
  • Experience with corporate governance and securities transactions preferred.
  • Experience with US or Internal labor and employment law preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

  • Advise on US Securities Law, government contracting and immigration matters.
  • Review and draft contracts, manage third party contracting process.

  • Identify potential legal issues in operations, strategic planning, and business development activities and bring to attention of management, along with recommendations for how to address or resolve to minimize legal risk to the organization.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and court decisions and advise management appropriately.
  • Ensure SOPs are in place to promote compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and
  • Focus on general corporate matters, with emphasis on compliance and global privacy.

Job Summary

Our Corporate Affairs department is seeking an experienced Attorney for our growing team. Corporate Affairs acts as in-house counsel for Medpace, and its domestic and international subsidiaries.
