Job summary

Larson Maddox is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its growing corporate practice in a hybrid Chicago setting. You will handle sophisticated transactional matters for a diverse client base, supporting transactions from inception to closing and coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of corporate transactional experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a licensed bar in the applicable jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Approximately 3-8 years of corporate transactional experience.
• Experience with finance, lending, secured transactions, or other complex business transactions is preferred.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage a variety of corporate and financing transactions from inception through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and related agreements.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence efforts and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advise clients on transaction-related issues, risk management, and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service.
