Jobot is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in New Jersey. The role focuses on a wide range of corporate matters, offering opportunities from startups to Fortune 500 clients within a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has a JD, bar admission, and at least 5 years in corporate law with a proven M&A and contract negotiation track record. Competitive salary and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate law experience, with a track record in corporate/M&A and contract negotiation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate for clients.
• High professionalism and commitment to client service.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence investigations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial contracts.
• Advise on corporate governance issues and assist in policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of changes in corporate law and advise on impact to clients.
