Job summary

Based in Stamford, CT, this full-time role offers direct client engagement, a collaborative team environment, and a compensation package ranging from $185,000 to $265,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of corporate law experience in a law firm.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and/or venture capital transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiating transactional documents.
• Familiarity with securities law compliance and corporate governance matters preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters in a transactional environment.
• Strong academic credentials and law firm training.

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents for mergers, acquisitions, and financing activities
• Support all phases of corporate transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing
• Advise clients on corporate governance matters and general corporate law issues
• Assist with venture capital financings and related investment transactions
• Manage and coordinate due diligence processes and transaction timelines
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute transactions efficiently

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple active transactions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
