Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking an Assistant Controller, Corporate to lead monthly close, consolidate multiple entities, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

You will interact with internal teams and external auditors, manage cost-center reporting, and administer financial systems (FCCS, Hyperion) to support accurate, timely statements. The role also oversees tax coordination and process improvements to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 8 years of relevant finance experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate multiple entities and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per US GAAP.
• Drive monthly close schedule and ensure timely consolidation and reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support audits and provide documentation.
• Liaise with external service providers for tax compliance activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting.
• Manage and report corporate cost centers.
• Ensure integrity of financial systems as global administrator (FCCS, Hyperion).
• Support annual insurance renewal data gathering and reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
