The Bachrach Group is seeking a senior Asset Servicing professional to own end-to-end corporate actions, income distributions, and proxy activities for a global capital markets client. You will drive front-to-back ownership across trade-to-settlement processes and collaborate with external brokers to ensure accurate, timely processing.

You will bring 5+ years in Asset Servicing, a strong control mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

Most corporate actions seats have you touching one product line and nothing else. This one doesn't. You'll own events end-to-end across fixed income corporate actions, income distributions, and proxy, for a global capital markets firm operating at real scale across Toronto, New York, London, Singapore, and beyond. The team isn't looking for someone who just wants to run the existing process; they're actively investing in automation and STP, and they want people who bring ideas for how the function should work, not just execute the queue. If you've spent your career in corporate actions and want the next move to actually be a step up in scope, not just a lateral move to a different logo, this is that.

Position Overview

This role sits within a firm's Global Asset Servicing group, managing the full lifecycle of corporate action events across fixed income products, from trade date through settlement. You'll work new bond issues, changes in terms and conditions, interest calculations on P&I and fixed/floating rate issues, and event types spanning bankruptcies, liquidations, defaults, consents, conversions, calls, and maturities. Beyond straight corporate actions, you'll serve as a proxy lead handling voting submissions and shareholder reporting, and you'll be hands-on with income distribution processing. This is a front-to-back ownership role: you're expected to catch issues before they become problems, not just process what lands in your queue.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day processing and reconciliation of corporate action events across the full trade-to-settlement lifecycle, including fails management
• Own proxy services: voting submissions, Completion Notice of Individual Shareholder Reporting, and Letters of Representation across global markets
• Process income distribution events accurately and on schedule
• Handle ad-hoc bond conversion requests on 144A/REGS securities
• Work directly with external brokers to process events on Repo and Stock Loan positions and settle claims
• Identify, elevate, and resolve corporate action issues against critical deadlines
• Partner with technology teams to build and refine automation supporting straight-through processing
• Maintain documentation to regulatory, compliance, and audit standards
• Provide feedback on custodian and vendor performance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of dedicated Asset Servicing Operations experience, with demonstrated hands-on work across all three core product areas: Corporate Actions, Income Distribution, and Proxy - general settlement or reconciliation experience alone won't clear this bar
• Comfort with DTC, Euroclear, and foreign depository clearance and settlement
• Broadridge NAPE experience strongly preferred
• A front-to-back ownership mentality and genuine comfort in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts, with a low tolerance for sloppy risk management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across global operations teams
