HITT Contracting Inc. seeks a Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead a team responsible for the general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

The role requires a solid accounting foundation and experience managing staff in a construction or contractor environment. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years in finance with 2+ years in a managerial role, and preferably a CPA license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 5+ years in finance and accounting with 2+ years in a managerial role.
• CPA license highly preferred.
• Construction or general contractor industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal control requirements.
• Prepare monthly reporting, quarterly GAAP financials, and board reports.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
• Manage workload and staffing to optimize resources.
• Collaborate with operations and stakeholders on processes and policies.
