Godshall & Godshall Personnel Consultants, Inc. is seeking an accounting leader to oversee the corporate accounting function, drive timely financial statement preparation, and partner with leadership to advance profitability and efficiency.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to support a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of accounting experience including leadership, strong proficiency in budgeting/forecasting, and ERP system expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills with a demonstrated commitment to integrity and ethical leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead the corporate accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements for distribution centers and company leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and cost management.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
• Partner with auditors and leadership teams to support audits, regulatory requirements, and financial governance initiatives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high‑performing accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• To be a champion in this role, you will need:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
