Job summary

Our Client in Orange County seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager/Financial Reporting Manager with CPA and strong public accounting background to lead a large team and bridge corporate accounting with business units.

You will oversee monthly and quarterly reporting, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and SOX controls, plus cost allocations and cash flow analysis, while working with ERP systems like Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in large companies.
• CPA license and public accounting background required.
• SOX internal controls experience and strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and leadership of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting and act as a bridge between corporate accounting and business units.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, analyses, and reporting.
• Prepare shared services cost allocations, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Analyze business performance, KPIs, control expenses, and identify process improvements.
• Oversee month-end close for multiple entities, accruals, fixed assets, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Oversee all account and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare cash flow analysis, P&L forecasts and budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Set and comply with internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Liaise with external audit firm.

Corporate Accounting Manager/Financial Reporting Manager, CPA - Our Client is seeking a strong Corporate Accounting Manager for their Headquarters located here in Orange County. They are seeking someone with experience from public accounting, CPA license, and private industry corporate accounting experience. The following is a job responsibilities and list of requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the leader and bridge between corporate accounting and the business units.
• Financial statement preparation, analysis, and detailed monthly & quarterly reporting.
• Prepare shared services cost allocations, financial statement consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, and eliminations.
• Analyze business performance, KPI’s, control expenses, report on flux analysis, and identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
• Oversee a large team with general ledger month end close for multiple entities, accruals, fixed assets, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee all account & bank reconciliations.
• Prepare cash flow analysis, P&L forecasts & budgeting, and variance analysis
• Set and comply with internal controls, policies & procedures.
• Liaise with external audit firm.
• The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $150,000 to $185,000 base, plus bonus and strong benefits.
• Strong excel large ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP

Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years related work experience from larger companies. Likely combination 4-5 years in public accounting plus another 5-10 years in private industry
• CPA and public accounting are required
• Must have public accounting experience in audit, internal controls in SOX compliant environment, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience in financial statement preparation.
• Prior proven supervisory experience, leading, mentoring, coaching, challenging, a large team.
• Excellent communication and ability to deliver results presentations.
