Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Summer Accounting Intern at our Headquarters in Cleveland, OH.

You will gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting, working with the corporate financial reporting team to assist with the Form 10-Q and related projects. Responsibilities include drafting financial statements and disclosures, preparing schedules for 401K and pension plans, GAAP/SEC updates, audit support, and journal entries with reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s program in Accounting or Finance.
• Must have completed at least freshman year by summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting financial statements and disclosures for SEC Form 10-Q.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple 401K and pension plans.
• Collaborate on GAAP and SEC guideline assessments.
• Assist with audit requests from internal and external auditors.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as requested.
