Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant to prepare financial reports tracking assets, liabilities, and P&L.

You will support consolidation of monthly statements, coordinate with property accountants, and maintain the general ledger in a fast-paced, on-site environment at our Ladera Ranch headquarters. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin and 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or private company accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin required.
• 1–3 years in public accounting or private company accounting.
• Knowledge of general and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and consolidation packages.
• Review monthly reporting from property accountants.
• Maintain general ledger and journal entries.
• Assist audits and treasury management.
• Prepare internal variance analyses.
