Job summary

The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support month‑end close coordination, cross‑functional collaboration, and process improvement initiatives across the General Accounting team. The role handles fixed assets, lease accounting, SG&A, and cash management activities to ensure timely GAAP reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• 5–7 years of hands-on month-end close coordination.
• Ability to manage accounting processes independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end close across Accounting and Finance to support a five-day close.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve close processes and accuracy.
• Lead process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Support maintenance of accounting systems and close management tools.
