Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking a Corporate Accountant for its North Dallas area team. This publicly traded global industrial company offers mentorship, exposure to senior leadership, and strong work-life balance. The role is hybrid with three days in office and two remote, reporting to the Controller.

You will participate in month-end close, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and contribute to audits and financial reporting, enabling growth in a dynamic public-company environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on with journal entries, GL, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Understanding of US GAAP and financial statements.
• Able to handle urgency and prioritize multiple tasks; collaborative and kind.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting and accounting research.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist with SOX/internal control documentation and testing.
• Participate in accounting initiatives and special projects.
