Job summary

Truity Partners in Wisconsin is seeking a Corporate Accountant with 2+ years of progressive accounting experience to join our manufacturing client in Ozaukee County. The role is hybrid and focuses on accurate financial reporting and adherence to US GAAP.

You will prepare journal entries, assist with closes, reconciliations, audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements, including data analytics and ERP systems. Bachelor’s degree required; Excel proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial statements, and internal control processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post routine to moderately complex journal entries with proper supporting documentation and adherence to accounting policies.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, maintain reporting schedules, and investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by meeting deadlines and coordinating required inputs across the accounting team.
• Assist with audit, compliance, and internal review requests by preparing schedules, compiling documentation, and responding to inquiries.
• Research accounting guidance and assist with drafting accounting policies and procedures to support consistent application of U.S. GAAP.

Our client is a manufacturing organization in the Ozaukee County area that’s looking for a Corporate Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and has high attention to detail. The salary for this position is 86K.

The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and post routine to moderately complex journal entries with proper supporting documentation and adherence to accounting policies.
