Job summary

Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is seeking a Coremaking Specialist to create sand cores for the metal casting process. The role requires attention to detail and willingness to train on coremaking techniques while following safety standards.

The job starts at $23.22/hour with wage increases, benefits, and potential overtime. 2nd shift is 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with shift premium for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and adjust core machines.
• Mix sand and binders to create core materials.
• Assemble cores and patterns to molds and fill them with core materials.
• Use of JIB hoist/pallet jack to maneuver materials.
• Use of hand tool to complete core making process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety policies.
