Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer – Core Technologies to partner with R&D and manufacturing on strategic sourcing for lasers, LCDs, films, and motion components. You will evaluate global suppliers, translate technical needs into supplier requirements, and help scale supplier capabilities to align with product roadmaps.

You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure manufacturability, mitigate risks, and improve supplier performance, with travel up to 20% to manufacturing

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analysis abilities and attention to detail.
• Hands-on engineering experience and ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• 2-5 years of post-graduate experience in global supply management or manufacturing.
• Willing to travel internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Be the Core Technologies Advisor & Supply Chain Owner for semi-standard to highly specialized commodities.
• Drive long-term strategic sourcing and align roadmaps with product plans.
• Bridge engineering and production to translate design ambitions into manufacturable solutions.
• Design robust, scalable supply ecosystems and review supplier performance.
• Lead supplier relationships, negotiations, and NPI readiness with R&D.
