Job summary

You will assist and relieve machine operators for breaks, ensure adequate training, and coordinate line readiness for shift changes. The role requires hands-on supervision on the production floor in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee line activities to ensure smooth, efficient production.
• Review daily plans and ensure workers understand requirements.
• Stop line for quality or safety issues and coordinate fixes with Quality, Maintenance, and Production Supervisor.
• Ensure adequate training and address training needs for line workers.
• Prepare line for next shift and manage line lead cleanup and coverage for breaks.
• Monitor sauce temperatures and consistency according to specifications.
• Coordinate change-overs and communicate sauce levels, temperatures, and consistency with operators and management.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and monitor for cross contamination or foreign objects.
