Job summary

The Core Product & Process Engineer at Cummins Inc. will drive core part association accuracy, support engineering release activities, and optimize core acceptance and sorting in remanufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and 3PL partners to validate strategies, improve processes, and deliver operational excellence. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvement to achieve manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in remanufacturing or core operations strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Brokered Engineering Releases to ensure accurate and timely system updates.
• Lead Core Part Number Association Changes via Engineering Release to maintain correct linkages between core and finished product structures.
• Ensure data integrity across systems related to core associations and remanufacturing requirements.
