Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI is seeking a Press Technician for our new core plant. This off‑shift role (2nd, 3rd or weekend) focuses on troubleshooting forming issues, die/gauge handling, and supporting continuous improvements within the cell.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of work experience or six months of manufacturing experience. Preferred: injection molding or forming experience, plus basic Word/Excel skills.

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and problem solve forming issues at the press.
• Manage die/gauge storage area.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvements and support the cell.
• Check overall quality of core jobs.
• Enter data into computer when applicable.
• Assist in training new setup techs and press operators.
