Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Hospital Manager to lead the core laboratory operations and supervise both technical and non-technical staff. The role focuses on achieving regulatory compliance and excellent service in the assigned areas.

The position requires a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, 5 years of MT experience, and Florida supervisor licensure in all five specialty areas or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology required
• 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist
• State of Florida Supervisor License in all 5 specialty areas or the ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, regulatory compliance, and service levels in assigned areas.
• Review and approve payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests
• Demonstrates skill required to supervise, teach and motivate staff
