Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Core Lab Quality Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in Chemistry and Hematology, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care.

The role requires a California CLS license, a bachelor’s degree, and at least three years of hospital lab experience, with responsibilities spanning QA, records, and performance improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Active California CLS license
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles, practices, and techniques
• Working knowledge of laboratory information systems
• Working knowledge of quality assurance/ performance improvement programs
• Minimum of 3 years hospital laboratory experience in General Laboratory testing

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operational functions and QA oversight for Chemistry and Hematology sections
• Provide technical bench work as needed to support workload demands
• Establish and maintain laboratory records, reports, statistics, logs, and files per regulatory and accreditation agencies
• Maintain oversight of Quality Control, Linearities, department QA forms, QAP, Quality Metrics and Quality Reports
• Participate in departmental performance improvement, quality control, safety, environmental and infection control programs
