Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA seeks a Clinical Lab Scientist to perform specialized testing, report results, and support the lab team. Reporting to the Senior CLS/Supervisor, you will train new technologists and supervise lab assistants while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and quality controls.

The role requires a California CLS license with strong laboratory knowledge and color vision testing capability; a biology degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required.
• Knowledge of all areas in the laboratory demonstrated through interview process.
• Knowledge of laboratory computer system preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized medical laboratory testing and reports results.
• Assists in training and orientation of new technologists.
• Directs work of laboratory assistants and ensures adherence to SOPs.
• Maintains knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures and quality control policies.
• Supports Corona Regional Medical Center's mission and strategic goals.
