Job summary

Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory Department. The Phlebotomist draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and handles clerical duties to maintain department efficiency.

Requires a High School degree; phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required. One year of phlebotomy and customer service experience are preferred. Travel to off-site locations may be required, with a strong emphasis on patient service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for testing.
• Enter orders, look up results, and generate reports.
• Answer internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Travel to off-site locations as required.
• Perform clerical duties and assist with inventory as needed.
