Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for the Core Lab at Baptist Downtown Jacksonville. This part-time role involves technical duties across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and serology, with a chance to work with Beckman instruments and automation.

You will collaborate with a team of 7-8 MTs and 4 Processing staff in a supportive lab environment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of MT experience, an associate degree (bachelor preferred), and

Formación

• Must hold an accredited degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
• Current Florida licensure as Medical Technologist or eligibility with licensure required.
• Two years of Medical Technologist experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain expertise and perform technical, specimen processing and LIS duties in Core Lab.
• Supervise by Director; may act as Charge Technologist in absence of supervisors.
• Instruct new employees and students; ensure records per SOPs.
