Job summary

Yuma Regional Medical Center is seeking a Core Lab Manager to lead the Chemistry/Urinalysis, Hematology/Coagulation and evening/night shift teams. You will ensure staffing, productivity, safety, and regulatory standards while directing budgetary performance and quality initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with MLS/MT credentials and 5+ years in the lab, including supervisory experience. You will mentor staff, oversee QA/QC, and drive continuous improvement across the laboratory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MLS/MT credentials preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related laboratory experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Core Lab team across Chemistry/Urinalysis, Hematology/Coagulation and shifts to meet patient needs.
• Ensure staffing, productivity, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
• Manage section budget and forecast operating performance; drive cost improvements.
• Develop staff through training and performance management; ensure QA/QC, safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with hospital leadership to align section goals with institutional objectives.
