AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Follows an approved Teacher Pay Scale, starting at $50,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.
A Teacher will work primarily with students in an educational setting delivering a curriculum of Target Teaching methodologies. As a teacher, you will track student attendance, maintain student grades, prepare lesson plans, and assist as needed in the classroom setting. With proven and efficient school policies and procedures, the Teacher will respond to the needs of students who have a variety of ability levels.
Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
1st, 3rd, and 4th Friday, 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Once a week, facilitate a group until 4:30 PM
