Job summary

AKG North America is seeking a Core Assembler for the 3rd shift (10PM–6AM). You will assemble cores following AKG procedures, verify parts, and ensure tight tolerances while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. On-the-job training is provided to grow your skills.

The role requires ability to read work orders and blueprints, basic math, and attention to detail. Prior manufacturing or assembler experience is preferred, with regular attendance expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as an assembler is preferred.
• Ability to use basic computer programs.
• Ability to read and understand detailed work orders and blueprints.
• Must have basic math skills and understand measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand detailed work order instructions.
• Verify correct parts are pulled prior to assembly.
• Sort defective and usable parts; adjust slightly defective parts.
• Adjust core assembly machine as needed.
• Assemble cores and fit parts to close tolerances per AKG standards.
• Bind completed cores and perform quality checks.
• Document and label completed and incomplete cores.
• Meet production quotas provided by Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report any issues to the Supervisor or appropriate personnel.
• Follow AKG EMS policies and procedures.
• Regular physical attendance is required.
