Job summary

AKG of America is hiring Final Assemblers for the 2nd shift (2PM-10PM, Mon-Fri) to assemble cooling packages following established procedures. You will locate parts, assemble according to blueprints, and prepare completed units for shipping in a clean, safe environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in manufacturing with assembly experience, basic math and blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to use measuring tools. On-the-job training is provided to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing experience required; assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect quality of the coolers and perform repairs/adjustments as needed.
• Locate and retrieve parts for assembly.
• Move cooling package to work area using manual effort or chain hoist.
• Assemble and attach parts to cooling package per blueprint instructions.
• Move assembled package to skid and prepare for shipping.
• Document assembly process and label completed package.
• Use a saw to cut plywood and build skids when needed.
• Meet production quotas set by Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Develop knowledge of parts used in Final Assembly.
• Report issues to Supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to AKG EMS policies and requirements.
• Regular physical attendance is required.
